Yes ! You heard it right. Elon Musk confirmed his internet providing satellite service might begin in the upcoming Noverber 2020. Startlink already launched it’s 420th Satellite on orbit.
Elon Musk’s target was to launch at least 400 satellites on orbit to initiate the service. Now it is 420 so starlink is capable to initiate the long awaited internet providing service very soon.
They are claiming that the download speed will be 1 gigabit per second. But they didn’t mentioned about the upload speed.
They service will be most benificery for the people of rural areas. They will be able to take the service while no internet provider cable or broad band company was reached.
The monthly cost will be approx $80. And the installation cost would be from $100 to $300.
